Our Trip to Tennessee

We recently took a family camping trip to Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg Tennessee and the Great Smoky Mountain National Park.

We stayed at Twin Creek RV Resort.

Twin Creek Campground

It was nice and calm and peaceful. Even when we found bear tracks and Moose's parents trash bag got stolen from their site.

The Pigeon Forge/ Gatlinburg/ Sevierville area of Tennessee reminds me of a beach town. Lots of shops and gokart tracks and mini-golf courses! I kept expecting to see the beach one block over.

We did lots of shopping!

And we walked up and down the "parkway" to all of the shops.

We ate dinner at The Old Mill.

And went to Dollywood (but I didn't take a lot of pictures because it was super hot!)

My favorite part of the trip was to Cades Cove in the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. We saw wild turkeys, deer and even bears!

  2. Thanks for stopping by www.dawnhudsonphotography.com and commenting on my beach fun photo.

I loved looking at your Tennessee photos. I went to college in Tennessee and worked at Dollywood the summer after my freshman year at college. That was many many years ago but looking at your photos brings back such great memories.

  3. Pigeon Forge is like my home away from home! (I was born and raised in Nashville TN) We used to have family reunions at Cades Cove.

    LOVE your pictures!

  4. What great photos! And what a great time! I'm heading there this weekend for a women's retreat. We took the boys there over Spring Break last year and LOVED it! You definitely need to be framing those picts!
